Benimar is a popular multi national residential area close to Rojales, Benijofar and Ciudad Quesada, It has two large commercial centres offering a great choice of bars, restaurants and shops with easy parking. The renovation of the ravine that runs alongside Benimar is now complete and includes: a boating lake, playground, seating areas, pedestrian and bicycle paths, cafe, plus a woodland and BBQ area!  A 10-15 minute drive will bring you to the glorious golden beaches of Guardamar del Segura and into the bustling seaside town of Torrevieja with its lovely seafront promenade and Marina. The area is serviced by two airports; Alicante which can be reached in 40 minutes and the new Corvera airport which can be reached in 55 minutes.

Benijofar is a charming Spanish village which makes up part of the Vega Baja area on the Costa Blanca South. It has a surprising amount of its own amenities including; restaurants, tapas bars, shops, butchers, bakers, banks, vets, health centre, municipal pool with sports facilities plus a weekly Tuesday street market. It also has a lovely little plaza in front of the pretty church perfect for sitting out and enjoying a coffee plus the Casa de Culrura centre where you can enjoy a show or a concert. Within walking distance you have the popular commercial centers at Benimar which offer a great choice of bars and restaurants plus the Spanish town of Rojales where you can enjoy a walk along the river. For nature lovers you have both the Canada Marsa and the El Secano Parks along with a lovely lake. A short drive away you will find the neighborhood town of Ciudad Quesada which boasts its own water park and the stunning La Marquesa golf course. The beautiful sandy blue flag beaches of Guardamar del Segura and la Mata are just a 10/15 minute drive away. Alicante airport is a 45 minute drive away and the new airport at Corvera can be reached in less than an hour.
