It also has a lovely little plaza in front of the pretty church perfect for sitting out and enjoying a coffee plus the Casa de Culrura centre where you can enjoy a show or a concert.  Within walking distance you have the popular commercial centres at Benimar which offer a great choice of bars and restaurants plus the Spanish town of Rojales where you can enjoy a walk along the river. For nature lovers you have both the Canada Marsa and the El Secano Parks along with a lovely lake.  A short drive away you will find the neighbouring town of Ciudad Quesada which boasts its own water park and the stunning La Marquesa golf course. The beautiful sandy blue flag beaches of Guardamar del Segura and la Mata are just a 10/15 minute drive away. Alicante airport is a 45 minute drive away and the new airport at Corvera can be reached in less than an hour.

Ciudad Quesada makes up part of the Rojales area in the Southern province of Alicante on the Costa Blanca South. It is located just 7km from the nearest beautiful sandy beaches at Guardamar del Segura and the population is made up of a mixture of nationalities such as Scandinavian, Dutch, German, Belgium, Spanish and British. It has its own bustling high street with many good restaurants, bars, shopping boulevards, supermarkets, petrol stations, medical centres, a, four star luxury spa hotel, Waterpark plus the beautiful La Marquesa golf course. The views from many parts of Ciudad Quesada are wonderful including, salt lake, mountain, countryside and even views of the Mediterranean sea!. The popular town of Torrevieja with its wonderful Marina, seafront promenade and stunning salt lakes is just a 10 minute drive away and the famous Orihuela Costa holiday strip resorts such as Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig, La Zenia and Punta Prima are just a 20 minute drive away. The area is serviced by two airports; Alicante which can be reached in 40 minutes and the new Corvera airport which can be reached in 55 minutes.
